A meeting between the Wild Side Outdoor Adventures applicants and Larimer Country staff took place on April 2. That meeting was a not a public meeting, but is a standard part of the feasibility review process. At that meeting, the applicants received feedback on their Sketch Plan application and discussed possible next steps should they decide to proceed to a Public Hearing Phase. It is important to note that the project was not approved or denied at the Sketch Plan review. Should the applicants decide to move forward, they will be required to hold a neighborhood meeting before submitting a Public Hearing Phase application. That meeting would be an opportunity for the applicants to speak directly to neighbors, and for neighbors to express their concerns to the applicants. The applicants are only required to mail notice to a list of neighbors which have already been identified, but the meeting is open to the public.
Below is a link to the plan on the Larimer County portal. If you scroll down on that page to the section under “Attachment Details”, the first item in the list is “Wild Side Outdoor Adventures SE Sketch Plan Report.pdf”. Click the “View” link next to it, and that should begin the download of an 86-page document containing the proposal, the County’s response, and the opposition letters that were provided by concerned neighbors and other landowners in the Tahosa Valley.
